Mimosa, bred by Symbiotic Genetics from Clementine × Purple Punch, became known for its fruit-punch character and sharp citrus-rind/orange profile. Staten Island Diesel pushes the other direction—Chem, fuel, sour funk and the kind of aggressive gas Katsu specifically selected the line to preserve.

Put them together and the hunt gets interesting fast.

We're looking for phenotypes where fresh orange peel, tangerine, citrus punch and sweet fruit collide with sour fuel, chemical funk and dirty gas. Some may lean heavily toward Mimosa's bright fruit, others toward the Staten Island side, but the real targets are the plants where both profiles come through at once.
